Sammie Kino is currently based in Omaha, Nebraska and attends the University of Nebraska at Omaha School of Music with a degree in Music Technology. They have a focus in experimenting with timbre and sound design along with a passion for creating visual art that encapsulates the same emotions as their music. Their art focuses on topics relating to strict nuclear familiar and gender roles that capitalism pushes on the working class, along with how it ties to queer issues, mental health, and interpersonal relationships as a whole. Sammie has worked with local artists such as Sage Rice and I’m Sorry Polly, as well as music and sound design for fashion designer brand TripShipFashion.LLC’s 2021 Spring Fashion Show.
